Process Plant Operator Traineeship

Programmed Apprenticeships and Traineeships, in partnership with Tronox, have an exciting opportunity for you to gain a Certificate III in Process Plant Operations which will be delivered over a 24-month period.

Who we’re looking for:

We want someone who is willing to learn and develop their skills over the course of the traineeship. You don’t need prior experience, all you need is enthusiasm, a curious mind, and a high regard for safety. You will work as part of a team, and individually, and should have a basic level of physical fitness. You will receive on the job training, coaching, and mentoring from teammates.

Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will meet the following criteria:

• Completion of Secondary Schooling (Minimum)
• Ability to work a rotating rostered shift
• Have a basic mechanical understanding
• A current WA driver's licence and own transport
• Strong commitment to safety and driven work ethic
• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and regular drug & alcohol screening tests.
• Physically fit, prepared to work in physically demanding workplace

Location:

Located at TRONOX’s Chandala Processing Complex, approximately 60 km north of Perth, operations include a dry mill, a synthetic rutile plant, and a residue management facility. The dry mill processes heavy mineral concentrates, separating them into a range of valuable mineral products.

Please note, these positions are residential/local only. No housing or housing allowance is offered as part of these contracts.
